To start with, The Kingdom of Hearts is not a
hand out, but a hand up. It is a hand up out of respect for ourselves and
those we help.
"It all started with Amy's heart to help people."
As it worked, people became successful, it grew from there
and is still growing today!
How it Works and Why
it Works!
Caring about the needs
of people: In part what we do as a
human rights organization is we petition governments and those in
governmental authority and even churches to work bring
human rights
into existence as part of the peace process.
The second thing that we
work to do is establish
solutions to
those in need of food and basic housing. It starts with
Cogitative
Restructuring, looking at problems and needs in a different way and
then working to find innovative solutions that will resolve the problem on
a short term basis and bring recovery to people, using
debt reduction and
consolidation
and develop a plan using EFT
transfers to deal with funds. From that plan we often use micro credits to
help as interim financing to a long term solution. We work to address
each individuals needs and from that helps resolve a communities needs.
In the past other organizations use a trickle down perspective.
With a trickle down
perspective the need never gets dealt with as it is always a hand out
and that does not build individuals or a community, but only deals with
a short term need thus creating addictive behaviors in those in need and
make those seeking help dependent on those giving aid. While it is good
to help in the short term, if long term solutions are not found, short
term solutions can actually make the problem worse.
The Kingdom of Heart and
its members are unique in what it does is it uses the reverse of trickle
up economics, which creates financial support first for individuals and
families that trickles to a community using in part the micro credit
system. These are the
core
principles that the founder
of TKOH has established. We use this system because we believe in
equality, respect and freedom and the autonomy of individuals and
communities. With a trickle down system individuals are dependent on
those supplying the needs, which defeats the point of helping others.
Anything less and instead of building people and a society it will
enslave them.
A Look at The Kingdom of Hearts: While taking a quick view of The
Kingdom of Hearts web site you may get the impression that it is about
women, sex, being young, career opportunities,
publishing, sex toys, women's apparel, vitamins and other related
services, but if that is all you saw, then you would be missing much of the message of The
Kingdom of Hearts and why it even exists. It is an example of how people
can make profits from business ventures, but also help people in need. The more
that is given from profits, the more profit there is.
I t
is not about profit although, business in order to stay in business must
make a profit, The Kingdom of Hearts is really about the celebration of
life, and the condition of one's own heart in how one see's, perceives
or even hear things and how they speak, which controls
a persons life and where they go or don't go in life, but in
this case Amy's life for without her none of this would be
possible. She is an example of how to, not only get through life, but
how to overcome obstacles and even hurt and sorrow.
Amy like many women started
out with a rather hard life and if you get a chance you should listen to
her story. This is not even about starting out with a hard life, but how
to overcome obstacles in your life as a woman and how to get somewhere
in life watching and learning from Amy as a role model. Here she is a
leader and she leads by two things, first by example and secondly by
love, not being over anyone, but to help people. Her life could
have ended up as one of those tragic stories one always seems to read
about. Bad news always seems to get better and quicker press than good
news.

The Kingdom of Hearts is
about the condition of everyone's heart. It is about looking at
ourselves and looking at what we do and why and then perhaps changing the
things in ourselves that need to be changed and having the power to make
those changes. It is about walking down the road together as equals,
learning from one another and being there for each other.
A
Love Story: While it is true that Amy
grew up as a little girl with hard beginnings and very well could have
ended up as one of those tragic stories, it is more true that Amy
learned to overcome her difficulties, obstacles and problems in life
over a period of time.
This is a story not about failure, but about success and how to become
successful from the inside out. Surroundings or where you live can help, but honestly if the
inside is a mess, sooner or later the mess will also come out. For Amy to
overcome she had to find love and acceptance, which was the start. From
there she learned about equality, freedom, respect for herself and
others, and love, all of which are the real hall marks and foundation of
The Kingdom of Hearts.

She found God in the middle
of things and it turned her life around. She did not find organized
religion and that is not what its about, but found God and she will tell
you herself if you care to ask that she owes it all to
God the creator.
From there she learned many
things about herself and life and how things work and why they don't work
often. She found healing and through a power she does posses, she is
able to help people reduce stress and often times bring healing to others.
This is not about any particular religion or about shaving your head and
doing strange things in the street or airports this is about giving
credit where credit it due. It is about learning about the condition of
our hearts and learning about influences, good and bad, that help create the condition
of the heart we have and then learning how to deal with it and go on in
life. It is about each of us being an example for others to follow and
learn from.
Amy serves as an inspiration
to all of us, but especially to those that have gone through much in
life, just to survive. She has learned many things about life and how to
overcome pain and suffering and find a life. She will also tell you that
this is not about her, but about you and your life and future.

One
thing that you will learn about Amy is that she does not judge
others, but approaches all with respect and love. The Kingdom of Hearts
is unique. It is about a woman feeling good about herself, growing and
being ok with herself, her situation and if that situation needs to be
changed being empowered to make those changes.
The Kingdom of Hearts is
about the present reality and each persons future. It is about being
free and not dependent on others. It is about standing together, not
because we are more right than others, but so we can seek answers for
each other. In doing so creates family and that family in not born by a
particular blood, but of love and in the love there is equality,
respect, unity and freedom.
This is about a woman being whole no matter who she is or what age she
is. This is about being complete and how to be complete.
This is a story of love and acceptance for all people. This is the place
for people that want to do better and go somewhere in life. We, because of Amy's example, love and care for each individual
that comes to us. We care about each persons future and what happens to
them. We simply minister to each person in body, soul and spirit.
We make sure as a part of
that love that each has a plan for their life and we encourage each to go
on that path, so each person can be complete. It is not about our path for a person, but helping each person
find their own path in life, no matter where that path leads them. It is
about learning who we really are inside and what drives us or motivates
us to do things at times, which may well be controlling our lives and
instead of being free we often end up as slaves. It is a celebration
of who and
what you are.

People from all walks of life are finding a home
in The Kingdom of Hearts. It is a home designed and inspired by the love
of one woman, Amy.
Welcome Home! Here you will find, freedom,
love, equality, respect and unity, because we all are very connected and
we need each other in life to get through life. Welcome to our family,
make it yours as well. We love each of you and want the very best for
each that comes our way. We are responsible to God and each other for
this.
Our hearts control
our minds, feelings, perceptions and our actions which control what we
do and our future. Our hearts control where we work and who we may marry
in life. Our hearts even control our children's hearts as they learn
more by watching us than what is said. Our hearts control the way we
hear things or see things and even read things.
Most
important our hearts controls how we speak to others and how we deal
with others good or bad. The Kingdom of Hearts is not about a place, but
a condition of the heart! Do we see hope? Do we see love? Do we give
love or just take? Do we respect one another in their own beliefs or do
we try to control, dominate and manipulate?
These are all the kingdom of
our hearts. If we cannot learn the lessons of history, we are doomed to
repeat history, until we learn to do something differently!
Are we
submissive enough to learn something different!
If not submissive
enough to learn, then are we human beings?
