TKOH, Advocacy & Lobbying

TKOH is an advocate of human rights, not only in the US, but has links and some influence in more than 70 countries.

We work to bring peace, equality and freedom, which brings respect for ones self and respect for others. We work to end starvation, homelessness and peace as we are all connected.

How it Works and Why it Works!

In part what we do as a human rights organization is we petition governments  and those in authority to work bring human rights into existence as part of the peace process.

The second thing that we work to do is establish solutions to those in need of food and basic housing. It starts with Cogitative Restructuring, looking at problems and needs in a different way and then working to come up with solutions that will resolve the problem on a short term basis and bring recovery to people, using debt reduction and consolidation and develop a plan using EFT transfers to deal with funds. From that plan we use micro credits to help as interim financing to a long term solution. We work to address each individuals needs and from that helps resolve a communities needs. In the past other organizations use a trickle down perspective.

With a trickle down perspective the need never gets dealt with as it is always a hand out and that does not build individuals or a community, but only deals with a short term need thus creating addictive behaviors in those in need and make those seeking help dependent on those giving aid.

The Kingdom of Heart and its members are unique in what it does is it uses the reverse of trickle up economics, which creates financial support first for individuals and families that trickles to a community using in part the micro credit system. These are the core principles that the founder of TKOH has established. We use this system because we believe in equality, respect and freedom and the autonomy of individuals and communities. With a trickle down system individuals are dependent on those supplying the needs, which defeats the point of helping others. Anything less and instead of building people and a society it will enslave them.

We lobby  for human rights, which are about equality and freedom and when there is equality and freedom it bring respect for ones self and with that respect for others. True peace can only come with equality.

The greater the distance between those that have and those that do not have, the less peace there is or can be!

One solution of course is to take from the rich and give to the poor!

The other solution is to help those in need bring their quality of life up and that is what all of TKOH works to accomplish.
