The Kingdom of Hearts outlook of Helping People
Tkoh works to address the needs of the whole person in an effort to really help people not only in the short term, but the long term, which is what is needed. We see people as having three parts. First is the body, soul and then spirit.
While the spiritual needs are very important to address, we believe that we need, in an effort to really care for people address the whole person in each aspect of their lives. For example to just feed people although feeding people and keeping them from starving is good, it is also important to look at why they are starving to death and deal with the larger issue, while feeding them as well. Often times problems are connected and we understand that it takes dealing with the whole person if we or anyone really cares about people to address the whole person.
Depending on the circumstance starvation may be out there, but how about those not able to pay their bills? Yes, people need temporary assistance and they need a long term community plan, so they can not only eat, but learn to feed themselves after a while. In this example we are dealing with the physical needs of a person, the emotional needs as well by providing stability, as well as the spiritual needs of the person out of love not only for God, but for people as well.
Salvation is not just in the taking from God, but learning how to give!
What keeps people from giving is that people see the need for helping people, but often in religion it is about taking and building buildings instead of really caring for each other as family and then in addition caring for those in the community as equals. Salvation is in receiving the gift of life, but that gift and what comes with it and giving that is what salvation really is. In other words if we get stability from God, then that is what we are responsible to give others, because the object lesson is not in the taking but learning to give as God gives and to be more like Him.
In Acts we see the Spirit in unity as they gave to others (whoever was in need).
Love is contagious, but real love cares about the whole person and not just the spiritual aspects of life. If a brother or sister comes to you and asks for a loaf of bread, what do we do? Say God bless you and send them away hungry? That may sound silly, but often that is exactly what happens. The next thing that happens is then we start to decide who really is our brothers and sisters, not understanding that we all came from Adam and Eve, which means we are all related to each other.
It is
why we are not just to love our neighbors as ourselves, but even love
our enemies as well, because we all came from Adam and Eve and are all
connected globally. God wants us to treat all as family. That has not
changed. What has changed is our attempt to define who is family and who
is not so we don't have to give to them.
It's an approach that works!
Helping the whole Person, where they are, in body, soul & spirit! It is not just about leading people to Jesus, which is part of it, but it is reaching out to all equally and caring for people, just out of love and respect helping each to come to maturity, being good spiritual parents. When we have children, do we just abandon them at birth? More and more are doing so, but we are called to be an example of God's will and not just lead someone to Jesus and feel like we have done a great thing. The great thing is in the raising of the child and caring for the needs of the child. Some will say that they are just an evangelist, that it is someone else's responsibility to raise them. The fun part is in leading people to Jesus, but the hard part is raising them in the likeness of Jesus, which takes the five fold gift ministry and the willingness to walk with all as equals.
Want to be blessed by God? Learn to do things God's way! His way is to love and not abandon. In loving and helping others it helps them, but brings us the hand of God to help us.
Tkoh Model for Success; Caring, ministering to the whole person.
*Base needs of a person: (1) Survival, (2) Loved and be Loved, (3) Variety & (4) Purpose
Why take care of the whole person? Because it is a condition of the heart to do so. It is not just about having the power of God to heal, that part is from God, but it is about a condition of our own hearts to walk with each as equal. That is what God is looking for. He has had enough of religion. Religions put one over the other and decides who gets helped and who does not get helped.
Religion judges people and decides who is worthy to be helped and who is not worthy. Domination is about one being over the other, so they can dominate. That is not the will of God, but the will of man. The will of God is being the servant to the servant. Whoever thinks themselves to be the greatest, let them be the least. If the core of our hearts is not to be a servant, the end result is domination over
others, justifying why we should be over others. None of that is from God and that is not salvation, but self deception.
Salvation
is about equality and loving all as equals. We either take on the family
of God or we take on our own families, missing the point of it all. Does
that mean we should not provide for our families? No, what that means is
if we are concerned for the well being of all, then God will be
concerned about the well being of us and will move on us because we
belong to Him.
Why other doctrines have crept into the church is because the church for the most part has not accepted the five fold gift ministry, which is designed by the hand of God not to be over, but to be in a supportive role to even the least of these. God has a plan, but knowing that plan is not automatic. That plan comes from seeking God and His will through Jesus. His plan is that we all have been called to ministry and all have been called to a royal priesthood and to be ambassadors for Christ. Religion teaches that ministry is just for some, which is how some get to be over others as it is not based on equality, but on control and manipulation.
To
fix things, starts with each of us having the heart for God and His love
and ways and then learning how to walk in what we have been called to
do, which takes us all to walk together. We are to exhort one another
daily in our holy calling and purpose, which encourages a person to find
their calling and purpose. When the belief is in place that only some
are called to ministry then we don't have to exhort one another daily
and then we start leaving important parts out.
How we bring peace on earth and good will to all is to understand and to accept all that are a part of God are a part of the royal priesthood and as such we are all called to walk in His will and power, which is to reach all on earth with His love, which brings stability to individuals and sooner or later filters to a whole community if we stay on task.
What
creates discord and division is not accepting that we are all called to
ministry and all called to be a royal priesthood and are not ambassadors
for Christ, carrying the weight of the kingdom of God with us and then
when that happens we start building our own kingdoms instead of the
kingdom of God. Salvation is not building our own kingdoms. Salvation is
love working to build the kingdom of God here on earth. No one can serve
two kingdoms and decisions will be made in both kingdoms that are either
to make things in the kingdom of God better which is loving one another
as equals or we make decisions about our own kingdoms where self is at
our core. Salvation is giving our hearts and lives to God through Jesus
and
laying down our own lives and will for the will of the Father who sent us.
It is not just about short term fruit of leading people to Jesus, but that each come to maturity and that they bear good fruit. Good long term fruit is always comes from God. Short term does not always take care of long term nor is it according to God's plan.
Body or Physical needs: Food, shelter, safety (temp) are all good, but what God wants is for people to come to maturity and that will turn things around for the long term. What interferes with God's long term plans is the church expecting it all to end tomorrow and instead of building long term solutions in maturity, everything is done for short term gain justifying it because "quote end time" thinking. Jesus warned that what we believe say and do not doubt we will get. What that means if the body is only doing short term missions goals and it is not about bringing people to maturity, then the real salvation message is not given clearly and everything is designed just for short term gain or what the church perceives as short term gain. Keeping the faith is always about long term and not short term. Addictions are about looking at only short term gain and not looking at the long term consequences of using short term logic.
Why it all comes to an end is that people loose their faith and that happens because of all the short
term planning and that all comes from bad beliefs and bad confessions, speaking destruction instead of speaking life and stability. Every time the church gets away from God's long term will, disaster always follows and the excuse is "that we are to be aware of the signs." Being aware and preaching them and teaching them is not what God or Jesus wants if we want peace on earth and good will to all.
If we want peace on earth, we need to talk peace on earth and good will to all and stop talking about wars being acceptable, because it's the end times! Salvation is not talking about war! Salvation is about talking peace walking in the power of the anointing that we have through God's Spirit and part of that anointing was given to us, which in the Old Testament was reserved only for Kings, Prophets and Priests.
It
is like having children! Almost anyone can produce babies, but it takes
a good
parent to raise one the right way. So what happens in short term thinking and
believing children instead of learning about their calling and purpose learn that
it's the end times and as such we can't do anything about the end times and that
God is in control and decides when it is the end! BAD TEACHING! The f acts are the end only happens because of the great falling away and that comes from not walking in the power, love and authority that was given to us by the Holy Spirit.
Either the mind and the heart are on God's will and building the Kingdom of God on earth which does bring peace and good will to all or the mind and the heart is on the end times and that nothing we do can stop it as it is God's will. The two beliefs cannot survive. What believers do not understand is that it is not salvation to walk in the belief that the end is upon us, but what is salvation is walking in the authority given to us through Jesus to destroy the works of the enemy, which is wars, disease, starvation, homelessness, etc and either one is a part of the solution or a part of the problem. If your walking in your calling and purpose we are to be walking in victory!
Victory
is not war, starvation, disease, famine, homelessness, etc. That is
defeat and we need to call it for what it is! It is a time in scripture
where men call bad things good and good things bad! Bad things are bad
things! Bad things are war, starvation, disease, poverty, famine,
homelessness, etc and there is nothing good about it especially if you
are going through it and then having someone tell you that it is the
will of God that it all happens?
God gave us a way out and that is the Good News, but it starts with the five fold gift ministry and people in the body coming to maturity and then walking in what each has been called to do and most importantly is working together to accomplish the will of God. Not working with each other and walking alone is not the will of God. Walking alone is the spirit of division.
This all can be turned around, but first it starts with our hearts to turn things around. Each of us needs to have a heart to want to turn things around! The second thing is its going to take reaching out to first all believers and asking all to walk together, which is the very will of God! If we walk together in God's will one will not be over another. We all may have different callings or purposes, but that does not mean one is over the other or more important than the other, nor does it mean they are to walk alone as individuals or even a denomination and denominations are about division.
One final need; To meet people where they are!
Global Missions Initiative happens through each of us as we walk together reaching out to all globally with God's will and love and part of that love is to deal with the needs long term and short term. We are all called to Advocacy. To walk in ones purpose and calling takes Training and the singleness of mind to reach all and walk together.
It is a choice either way and as you read this, you are making a choice one way or the other that will affect you and your family in what type of future you will have. In the end we all have to face God and either we did everything we could and walked together in our calling or purpose by faith or we didn't.
The question is, whether or
not it is salvation or not to walk in faith in our calling and purpose
or if it is required that we walk by faith in our calling and purpose,
which in part is how we are led by the Spirit of God. Those led by the
Spirit of God are the sons/daughters of God.
Search your hearts and seek God for the truth. To us it's all about walking the red road together as equals. The red road is red because Jesus laid His life and will down so that we had a chance to live and it is still red, because those that walk with Him lay down our lives and will so that others may live. What are we asking? To walk together and at the very least pray the Lord's prayer daily and ask that God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven. God's will happens through His people.
